Apprentice Scheme
The Apprentice… Sir Alan Sugar eat your heart out! Watch this film to get an idea of how the scheme works.
School-leavers aged 16-18 often find it tough getting a foot in the door when it comes to employment. As far as most application forms goes, people in this age group often have little previous work experience, no references from previous employment and little knowledge about their intended employer, so very often wouldn’t even be short-listed for interview.
To give young school leavers the best possible chance of gaining full time employment within the NHS, Nottinghamshire Health and Social Care Community Workforce Team have been working together on an innovative business administration and new clinical apprenticeship programme that, in a break with traditional schemes, starts a large cohort of apprentices off at the same time.
